The life of lakhs of solar panels, which have become the source green energy in the USA, is now coming to an end. Nevertheless, there are lakhs of such panels which can still work for long periods of time now, and such panels will fulfill the energy needs in Asian and other developing countries. These will not only avert high-tech components from becoming polluting waste, but will also help in achieving the green energy targets. In developing countries, people in houses, farmers, and industrialists are using cheap solar panels coming from developed countries.

A trading house in Japan has announced the development of a blockchain market for such panels. Such panels from the USA are also being used for water pumps in Nigerian agricultural fields. Traders associated with used components in the USA believe that in the future, solar panels will outdo the reused textile industry. As per the USA’s National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), solar panels equal to 3000 football grounds will get retired by 2030 there.

According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IREA) by 2030, 4 percent of the panels will be out, and by 2050, at least 50 lakh tons of solar panel waste will be generated every year. Solar panel capacity in the USA is expected to increase at an average of 21 percent annually by 2027.
