On Monday, June 19, the Mumbai Police provided security cover to Adipurush co-writer, Manoj Muntashir, after the latter had requested them for the same. Muntashir has alleged that he has a threat on his life and the Mumbai Police have responded to the same saying that they are probing the matter.

On Sunday, after facing heavy criticism for the dialogues he has written for Adipurush, Manoj Muntashir took to Twitter and said, “Several people wrote indecent words for me on social media. My own brothers wrote indecent words for me on social media. My own, for whose respected mothers I read poems many times on TV, addressed my own mother with indecent words. I kept thinking, there can be differences, but where did my brothers suddenly get so bitter that they forgot to see Shri Ram who considered every mother as his mother? Sitting at the feet of Shabari, as if sitting at the feet of Kaushalya”.

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan has been a total disappointment for the audience across the country, and hence, the movie has been facing criticism left, right, and centre since its release on June 16, because of poor VFX, misrepresentation of Shri Ram, Mata Sita, and Dashanana Ravan, and cheap dialogues written by Muntashir.
