Gehlot approved Rs 156 cr for road development works

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave financial approval of Rs 156 crore for the work of repairing and repainting roads in the Municipal Corporation Jaipur Heritage area and connecting two assembly constituencies and seven revenue villages with asphalt roads.

Shri Gehlot has given financial approval of about Rs 100 crore for the work of repairing and repainting 30-foot-wide roads in the Jaipur Heritage Area.

Also, financial approval of Rs 20 crore has been given for 219 works of non-peachable or missing link roads in two assembly constituencies and Rs 36 crore for connecting seven revenue villages with asphalt roads.

According to the approval of Shri Gehlot, repair and repainting work on 30-foot-wide roads will be done in the Municipal Corporation Jaipur Heritage area at a cost of Rs 99.97 crore.

Similarly, 219 works of non-peachable or missing link roads in Malviya Nagar and Sanganer assembly constituencies have been approved to be done under the Urban Road Scheme with an amount of Rs 20 crore, while under the Rural Road Scheme, seven revenue villages have been provided with asphalt roads.

Approval of Rs 36 crore has been given for seven works.

These approvals have been issued in implementation of the announcements made by the Chief Minister in the budget year 2023–24.
