Srinagar: In accordance with the directive of the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal, Imtiaz Ismail Parry, a 2009 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT Cadre, takes over charge as the Deputy Inspector General at SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Imtiyaz Ismail Parry has previously served in key roles such as SP Ganderbal, SSP Srinagar, and SSP Crime Branch in J&K.
Taking over the responsibilities from Hemam Basant Kumar Singh, DIG of Sector HQR SSB Srinagar, who has been transferred to Frontier HQRS SSB Guwahati, Imtiaz Ismail Parry, DIG, IPS, familiarized himself with the roles and duties of SSB in the Kashmir Valley. Singh provided a comprehensive briefing to Imtiyaz Ismail Parry, including a tour of the campus.
Following the briefing, Imtiyaz Ismail Parry, DIG, IPS, bid farewell to the outgoing officer, Hemam Kumar Basant Singh, DIG, SSB, and assumed his duties at Sector HQRS (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar.
