Putin welcomes foreign leaders in Kremlin ahead of Victory Day parade

Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday welcomed in the Kremlin foreign leaders who are expected to take part in the Victory Day parade on the Red Square.

From the Kremlin, the leaders will proceed to the Red Square to take their places on the tribunes. The parade, marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, is expected to start at 10:00 Moscow time (07:00 GMT).

After the parade, they are expected to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden.
