Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati today called for a united approach by all political parties during the Parliamentary discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’, underscoring the importance of rising above party lines when it comes to matters of national security.

As the discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’ is set to begin in Parliament today, Mayawati appealed ruling party and the opposition to join forces in formulating a robust and effective strategy.

“The government and the opposition must work together so that no woman loses her sindoor and no mother is left to mourn the loss of her son. This is the urgent need of the hour,” she said in a statement issued on Monday morning.

Extending support to the opposition’s demand for a full-fledged discussion, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also emphasized the need for a constructive and meaningful dialogue throughout the ongoing session.
