Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today said that September 11, 2001 was a dark chapter in the history of humanity, when innocent lives were lost in a cowardly terrorist attack.
On the anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, the CM said that India is committed to eradicating the global curse of terror.
While sharing a post on social media, the CM said that this attack was a ruthless attack on the peace, faith and human values of the entire human civilization.
He said, “I pay my humble tribute to all the departed souls who died in that terrible tragedy and express my deepest condolences to their families.”
Yogi said that India is committed to eradicate this global curse of terror and create a world where there is no fear, only peace, brotherhood and the light of humanity.
It may be noted that the terrorist attacks on the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in America on September 11, 2001 shook the whole world. Many people were killed in this attack.
Osama bin Laden and his terrorist organization Al-Qaeda were behind these attacks. When American commandos killed him in Abbottabad in 2011, the world breathed a sigh of relief.
