Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday got a respite as the Andhra Pradesh High Court here has granted anticipatory bail to him in the Angallu violence case.
Violent incidents occurred when Chandrababu Naidu was proceeding to visit an irrigation project on August 4 at Angallu town in Annamayya district.
High Court Judge Justice K Suresh Reddy granted anticipatory bail to Naidu. He was Accused 1 in the case.
It may be mentioned here that the former Chief Minister was lodged in the Rajahmunry Central Prison since September 9 in the alleged skill development scam case. His Judicial remand was extended till October 19 by the ACB Court in Vijayawada.
