Jammu: Alert Army troops fired at the Pakistan drone hovering close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Official sources said that their own troops this morning spotted a Pakistani drone near the Line of Control in the Topi Post and Parvinder Post in the Mendhar sector of Poonch.

“Army troops fired a few rounds to push back the flying machine entering the Indian border from across the border,” they said.

“A search operation has been launched in the area, suspecting any air dropping,” sources said.

Notably, Jammu and Kashmir Police recently announced a cash reward to informers of drone droppings from across the border.
