Dhaka: Bangladesh’s air carrier US-Bangla Airlines has announced the launch of flight operations to Abu Dhabi from the capital Dhaka and from the southern seaport city of Chattogram.

Beginning on April 19, the flights will run directly on the Dhaka-Abu Dhabi route on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and on the Chattogram-Abu Dhabi route on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, according to a press release from the Dhaka-based leading private carrier.

With Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the new flight route marks US-Bangla Airlines’ third destination in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

High demand from migrant Bangladeshis prompted the airline to introduce the new flight routes, according to the company.
