Bengaluru: Reacting to Jagadish Shettar and Laxman Savadi joining Congress after the BJP denied them tickets, state party incharge Arun Singh on Monday said it is a matter of concern for them because they are joining Congress party which has been wiped out across the country.

“It is a matter of pride to work under the leadership of Narendra Modi and the biggest party (in the country). And they are preparing to fight the election from such a party which is slowly being wiped out from the country. So, joining that party with vested interests is a matter for concern for them, not us,” he told reporters here.

The BJP is going to form the government with a huge majority on the basis of party workers, and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BS Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai, Singh said.

“On the basis of BJP workers. Under the leadership of PM Modi ji; under the guidance and leadership of Yeddyurappa ji; and under the leadership of Bommai ji we are going to form the government with a huge majority. It is clear,” he said.
