Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged on Monday that the Congress and other members of the “haughty combine” that goes by the name of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance grudgingly ayed the Women’s Reservation Bill owing to compulsion and trepidation fuelled by the realisation that Bharat’s awakened mothers and sisters have comprehended their true character.

Addressing the BJP’s Karyakarta Mahakumbh at Jamboree Ground in the capital of election-bound Madhya Pradesh, the visiting dignitary averred, “Who constitutes the I.N.D.I.A.? It comprises those very politicians who prevented passage of this crucial proposal for legislation for years. They generated bedlam in Parliament, rend the bill, targeted the Speaker and crossed every conceivable limit.

Observe the excuses made by our opponents. It was even said that the Bill would never be passed. The I.N.D.I.A. components have run regimes for decades while enjoying the majority. Why was no such law made during that period? The truth lies in impure motives.”

The Prime Minister underlined that he wishes to caution mothers and sisters across Bharat that the jittery I.N.D.I.A. shall deceive them at the first opportunity by playing a new game and dividing nari shakti through the spread of rumour.
