New Delhi: The Principal District and Sessions Court of Rouse Avenue here on Friday allowed a plea by the Enforcement Directorate to transfer the matter registered against Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain from Special Judge Geetanjali Goel to another court.

Judge Vinay Kumar Gupta gave the ruling after hearing arguments from both sides.

The government counsel submitted that Jain may manage to get forged documents and can influence the doctors and jail officials.

Counsel for Jain opposed the ED by submitting that it had made a malafide application to derail the trial.
