Disney+ Hotstar wins big at Critics’ Choice Awards 2024

Mumbai: The 6th Critics’ Choice Awards 2024, presented by the Film Critics Guild and Group M Motion Entertainment in collaboration with Vistas Media Capital, concluded with Disney+ Hotstar emerging as the star of the evening.

The streaming giant secured the prestigious ‘Best OTT Platform of the Year’ award, solidifying its position as an entertainment powerhouse.

Celebrating its success, Hotstar Specials’ ‘Koffee with Karan Season 8’ won hearts with its vulnerability and banter, claiming the title of ‘Best Unscripted Show.’ The show, a fan favourite, showcased memorable moments, capturing the essence of entertainment.

In the realm of cinema, ‘12th Fail’ by Vidhu Vinod Chopra was crowned ‘Best Feature Film,’ highlighting its exceptional storytelling and widespread popularity. The film quickly rose to become the most-watched film of 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar, garnering praise from audiences worldwide.
