Dhaka: All opposition parties in Bangladesh want free, fair and impartial elections. But it is not possible for any election to be free, fair and impartial when Awami League is in power. The Awami League’s talk of being able to organize free, fair and impartial elections to deceive the people is unreal, said Amir Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim of Islami Andolan Bangladesh.

Addressing the chief guest at the rally organized on the occasion of the 32nd founding anniversary of Islami Chhatra Andolan Bangladesh at the box culvert road of Old Paltan in the capital this afternoon, the Amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh also said that those who are serving in the administration are our brothers. You have lost some neutrality in the performance of duties. A scandalous chapter has been written in his behavior with hammer in hand.

He said, everyone should unite and protest against the government. He urged the government to immediately release those who have been jailed while agitating for their just demands and to withdraw the false cases.

After the Awami League peace rally, the conference demanded the arrest of the killers of Hafez Rezaul Karim, who was killed in the clash between the two sides.

Islamic Movement Bangladesh presidium member Principal Maulana Syed Muhammad Mosaddeq Billah Al Madani, Islamic Movement Bangladesh Secretary General Hafez Maulana Yunus Ahmad, Presidium member Professor Ashraf Ali Akon, and Presidium member Professor Mahbubur Rahman spoke as special guests at the conference.
