Gujarat: Air Force fighter plane crashes in Jamnagar, both pilots injured

Jamnagar: Two pilots sustained serious injuries as an Air Force fighter plane crashed in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district on Wednesday night. police said.

Police said around 9-37 pm they receivied information about the Air Force fighter plane crashing and catching fire in a field near Suvarda village.

Immediately teams of police and fire brigade personnel, Air Force and administration officials rushed to the spot.

The two injured pilots have been hospitalised.

A fire department official said two fire engines sent to the spot were trying hard to extinguish the fire
