Once again, a Hindu temple has been targeted in Australia, and this time, the crime took place against the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple of Brisbane, on Saturday. As per local sources, the temple was vandalized and pictures made on the temple walls were damaged. Shockingly, this is the fourth incident of a Hindu temple being attacked in the country in merely two months.
It was known about this incident on Saturday morning, when devotees visited the temple for worshipping their deities. As per Australia Today, the temple was vandalized by Khalistan supporters. The temple committee chief, Satinder Shukla, said that the temple priests and the devotees were the ones who had called up in the morning and informed him about the temple vandalism.
Prior to this, the BAAPS Swaminarayan temple in Melbourne was attacked on 12th January, on 16th January, the Shri Shiv Vishnu Temple in Victoria was desecrated, and on 23rd January, the ISKCON temple in Melbourne was targeted.
