Budapest: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the ruling alliance Fidesz-Christian Democratic People’s Party has won in the elections to the European Parliament and local elections in Hungary.

“Today we held elections in Budapest and in Hungary and won both,” Orban said, speaking at the campaign headquarters.

He also added that the election results show the European Parliament that Hungarian citizens “want peace.”
