Jerusalem: The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it identified three projectiles flying from Lebanon into Israel, some of which were intercepted.
Earlier, the IDF reported that air raid sirens sounded in central Israel following launches from Lebanon.
“Following the sirens that sounded in central Israel, three projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some were intercepted, a fallen projectile was most likely identified in the area. Details are under examination,” the IDF wrote on Telegram.
Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon since October 1. The operation has involved airstrikes, despite Hezbollah launching rockets across the border and fighting Israeli troops on the ground.
