Inception — The Performing Arts Society of the Goa Institute of Management — proudly presents its highly anticipated annual festival, Inception 2026, a premier showcase celebrating excellence in music, dance, fashion, and performance. As a two-day cultural festival highlighting performing arts and culinary experiences, Inception remains a distinguished platform that nurtures students’ creativity and artistic expression.
This year’s edition is made possible by a distinguished partner ecosystem, beginning with AD Enterprises (Title Sponsor). The first precursor event for Inception 2026 will be OxyGIM Night, featuring a captivating performance by OxyGIM, the institute’s distinguished band, that sets an elegant, melodic tone for the festivities.
The second precursor event, the much-anticipated Beer Launch, will unveil the official beer partner for Inception, further energising the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
The main festival days will feature a series of competitive showcases, including Feet on Fire, an exhilarating group dance contest, and Just Du-et, a solo and duo dance competition — both highlighting the depth of talent within the institute. Additionally, Melody & Muse, the signature music competition, will provide a dynamic platform for vocalists and instrumentalists to shine.
The festival’s artistic journey culminates in Melange, GIM’s premier fashion showcase, presenting a fusion of style, creativity, and stagecraft.
Day 1 of Inception 2026 will culminate in a high-energy live performance by BYOB Band, known for their dynamic stage presence and engaging musical style. Blending contemporary sounds with crowd-driven energy, the band promises an immersive performance that will electrify the audience and set a vibrant tone for the festival. Their spirited delivery and musical versatility are expected to create a memorable opening night experience.
Day 2 will feature the grand headlining performance by the dynamic singer Shahid Mallya, celebrated for his powerful vocals and emotionally resonant performances across Bollywood and independent music. Seamlessly combining soulful melodies with high-energy numbers, he promises an immersive live experience that will captivate the audience. His commanding stage presence and musical depth are set to deliver a spectacular finale, leaving attendees spellbound.
