Kerala: KICL brings French brand Kickers to Indian market

Thiruvananthapuram: Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) has announced the entry of iconic premium French brand Kickers’ to the Indian market offering wide range of products available for men and women in footwear and accessories.

KICL has signed a 30-year licensing and distribution pact with France-based Royer Group for sales and marketing of iconic Kickers branded products in India and other nations include Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on the foreign brand, Dr. J Rafiq Ahmed Managing Director, KICL said, “Footwear plays not only a vital role in keeping your feet protected but also helps avoid complications that may necessitate medical treatment as countless blood vessels and nerve endings link your feet to the heart, brain and spine, therefore taking care of your feet health significantly enhances overall quality of life and mobility.”

The India’s first Kickers store was opened in Chennai recently in the presence of presence Etienne Rolland-Piegue, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai, and Carl Boulanger, Economic Diplomacy Officer at Bureau de France, he said in a release on Monday.
