MLC election: Monday last day for filing nominations in Telangana

Hyderabad: Monday marks the last day for filing nominations for the MLA quota MLC elections in Telangana.

In this context, candidates will be submitting their nominations today.

With four candidates from the Congress and one from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) contesting a total of five seats, the election is expected to be unanimous.

The Congress has fielded Addanki Dayakar, Vijayashanti, Shankar Nayak, and CPI-backed candidate Nellikanti Satyam. Meanwhile, Dasoju Shravan is contesting from the BRS.

All candidates are set to file their nominations on Monday, the final day for submission.
