The biggest air-show in Asia was kicked-off in Bengaluru on Monday, and the most surprising element of the air-show is that for the first time, two F35 fighter jets, which are the most advanced ones, entered India. Along with this, two F-16 Vipers and two F A/18 Super Hornets reached Bengaluru, from Lockheed Martin, the company which has manufactured the F35. The F35 remained to be the talking point, and the jets will also take a flight during the air-show.

The USA’s Defense Attaché in India, Rear Admiral Michael Baker, said, on the possible acquisition of F35 with India, that both the countries are strategic partners, and India is also manufacturing the future’s fighter jets. As a matter of fact, India has to buy 114 multi-role fighter jets and the USA is eyeing to sell the jets.

The air-show was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was present as well. Air-force Chief, VR Chaudhary, arrived on the lightest fighter aircraft, Tejas.

The F35 is a fifth-generation fighter jet, and has not been acquired by a single country as of now. Equipped with advanced sensors, this aircraft is capable of electronic wars, and can carry weaponry weighing up to 8 thousand KG. This aircraft cannot be caught by radars, and hence, it can easily return after destroying the target. The speed of 1.6 Mach is 1.5 times more than the speed of sound, and the speed can also be increased.
