New Delhi: Bollywood actress Mouni Roy is happy to work in the film ‘Sultan of Delhi’.
Sultan of Delhi: Ascension is based on the book by Arnab Ray.
The series is produced by Reliance Entertainment and directed by Milan Luthria.
Suparn Verma has co-directed and co-written it.
Mouni Roy plays the role of Nayanthara in Sultan of Delhi.
Talking about her character in Sultan of Delhi, Mouni Roy said: “Nayanthara is free and fearless.
Her thoughts are clear and she knows what she wants. She is like a Bengali lioness.
When I first met Milan sir and he told me about this character, I was hoping in my heart that he would cast me.
I was really impressed by the way she thinks, feels and moves in her own way.
If you read the book, you will experience being in her world and that’s what I wanted, so I am very happy with my role.
Sultan of Delhi stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjum Sharma, Vinay Pathak and Nishant Dahiya in pivotal roles.
Sultan of Delhi will release on Disney + Hotstar on October 13, 2023.
