MP: 4 killed as Maha Kumbh-bound SUV overturns in Sidhi

Sidhi (MP): Four persons were killed and two others injured when a jeep carrying them overturned in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district on Monday, police said.

Police said the two injured in the accident that took place in Kaimore Pahar area in the wee hours today have been admitted to a hospital here. After the accident, all the occupants of the jeep were brought to the hospital.

Two persons were declared dead immediately and two succumbed to their injuries during treatment. The remaining two passengers are undergoing treatment.

Sources said all the occupants of the jeep were on their way to Prayagraj from neighbouring Singrauli district. The vehicle overturned uncontrollably in the hilly area.
