MSME scale-up projects: Deadline for EoI to empanel consultants extended

Thiruvananthapuram: The Directorate of Industries and Commerce (DIC), Government of Kerala, has extended till December 10 the deadline for submitting Expression of Interest (EoI) for empanelment of consultants to draw up Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) of Mission 1000 and One Local Body One Product (OLOP) schemes aimed at scaling up MSME sector and promote local enterprises.

Mission 1000 scheme is aimed at scaling up 1000 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) into businesses generating an annual turnover of Rs 100 crore within a span of four years.

The OLOP scheme seeks to strengthen domestic production by promoting indigenous products to tap global market by leveraging the locally available resources and entrepreneurial acumen.

The consultants selected for OLOP scheme will have to support local bodies to prepare DPRs covering the entire gamut of issues including the strategic action plan, cost estimates and project viability.

The consultants under Mission 1000 scheme will have to facilitate MSMEs enrolled under the project scale up their strategies for each one of them to be implemented within four years.

Entities having a minimum of three years’ experience in preparing DPRs and industrial infrastructure planning are entitled to apply for empanelment. The eligibility criteria for interested consultancies could be accessed from https:ndustry.kerala.gov.in/

The DIC will make the final selection after going thoroughly by the criteria laid down.
