PM, Speaker wish Mizoram CM Zoramthanga on his birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Thursday extended their warm wishes to Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga and prayed for his long and healthy life.

“Birthday greetings to Mizoram CM Zoramthanga Ji,” the PM wrote in a tweet.

Lauding Zoramthanga for his contribution to the people of the Northeastern state, Modi said, “He is an experienced leader who has devoted his lifetime towards the well-being of the people of Mizoram. May he lead a long and healthy life.”

In a reply to the PM’s tweet, Zoramthanga said, “I am truly grateful for your warm birthday wishes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, and I am honoured to get your blessings today. May God bless you with good health, wisdom, and strength to serve the people of India.”

Extending his greetings to the Mizoram CM, the LS Speaker wrote in a tweet, “Heartiest birthday greetings to the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Zoramthanga Ji.”

“May you continue to serve the people with the same enthusiasm. I wish you good health, happiness, and long life,” Birla said.
