Police arrests two women drug peddlers in Baramulla

Srinagar: Police on Wednesday arrested two women drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police station Boniyar arrested two female Drug Peddlers identified as Fahmeeda and Nazira Begum of Bimyat during checking at Chellan Boniyar.

They said both were coming from Bimyar towards Chellan and upon seeing the police party tried to flee from the spot but were apprehended tactfully.

During their personal search 113 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from them. Both were taken into custody immediately, they added.
