Putin says Russia-Turkmenistan relations developing dynamically

Ashgabat: Russian President Vladimir Putin said relations with Turkmenistan are developing dynamically in the spirit of strategic partnership, the Russian-language government newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan reported.

“I hope we will continue close and constructive joint work on current issues of the bilateral and international agenda for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interest of strengthening security and stability in the Central Asian and Caspian regions,” Putin said as quoted by the newspaper.

The Russian leader wished a happy New Year to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and national leader and upper house speaker Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
