Remains of ancient Mandir found at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi

On Tuesday, September 12, the General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai, informed that several remains of an ancient Mandir were found during excavation at the Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya. He added that the remains were mostly in the form of idols and pillars.

Taking to X, Rai said, ‘Remains of an ancient temple found during excavation at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. It includes many statues and pillars.’ Rai shared a picture of the remains, which showed parts of idols carved out of large stones and pillars.

The construction work of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is going on in full swing, and the Pran Pratishtha is to take place on 22 January, 2024, after which the Mandir will be opened up for devotees, for them to pay their obeisance to Ram Lalla, for which the Hindus of this country have waited for centuries.
