United Nations: US President Donald Trump understands that trade relations between Msocow and Washington have gotten to an inappropriate level of two world powers, Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy said in an interview with Ria Novosti.
“It’s a matter of fact that our trade relations and economic relations have shrunk to the level which is absolutely unbecoming for two great powers,” Polyanskiy replied when asked if Trump is trying to make the business connection better.
The diplomat added that he believes that Trump understands this and makes efforts to open this chapter of our relations as well.”
Polyanskiy further highlighted that the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and Russian special presidential envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries, Kirill Dmitriev, is participating actively in normalizing relations with the US on behalf of Russia.
