The gainers were HDFC Bank by 2.91 pc to Rs 1780.95, Axis Bank by 1.89 pc to Rs 1277.45, ICICI Bank by 1.78 pc to Rs 1211.60, Kotak Bank by 1.57 pc to Rs 1797.10, and IndusInd Bank by 3.71 pc to Rs 1439.70.
The losers were TCS by 1.04 pc to Rs 3974.10, Ultrasemco by 0.62 pc to Rs 11773.40, Reliance Industries by 0.45 pc to Rs 3118.25, and Maruti Suzuki by 0.36 pc to Rs 11995.45.
