Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (NIA) was carrying out raids at nine locations in Srinagar on Monday as part of its probe into an alleged conspiracy involving newly-floated terror outfits to destabilise Jammu and Kashmir, agency said on Monday.

The agency said searches are going on at nine locations in Srinagar in RC 5/22.

” Details shall follow,” they said.

The case relates to the hatching of a conspiracy, both physical and in cyberspace, and plans by proscribed terrorist organisations to execute violent terrorist attacks in J&K with sticky bombs, IEDs, and small arms.

The plans are part of a larger conspiracy by the terrorist groups to commit terror acts in association with local youths and underground workers in order to create communal disharmony in J&K.
