On the very first day of the new year, two terrorists opened fire in the homes of Hindus in the Dangri village of Jammu’s Rajouri district. 3 people lost their lives and 7 have been injured. The incident took place at 7.30 PM. The Jammu-Kashmir police have stated that the three houses in which the firing took place, are 50 metres away from each other. As per eyewitnesses, all the three houses are near a temple and a government school. The terrorists reached the spot in a car, and ran away after the killings.

The administration has informed that those who lost their lives were Satish (45), Deepak (23), and Pritam Lal (56). On the other hand, the injured are being treated at the government medical college in Rajouri. There is an apprehension of the number of the dead increasing.
