New Delhi/Ramallah: Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary, MEA, who is on a visit to Palestine, held talks with the Prime Minister of Palestine Mohammad Shtayyeh and also with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Majdi Khaldi, during which discussions were held on strengthening the bilateral relations.
In tweets, the Indian Embassy in Ramallah said that Ausaf Sayeed also inaugurated an Artificial Limb Fitment Camp and jointly commissioned a Government of India-funded National Printing Press project.
On his meeting with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President, the Indian Embassy said:
“Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, @SecretaryCPVOIA, called on Diplomatic Advisor to President of Palestine, H.E. Dr. Majdi Khaldi. Discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening India-Palestine partnership through exploring various horizons of cooperation.”
On his meeting with the PM of Palestine, it said:
“Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, @SecretaryCPVOIA , called on PM of Palestine, H.E.
@DrShtayyeh. The whole gamut of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries including development & economic cooperation were discussed.”
He inaugurated an artificial limb fitment camp.
“Artificial Limb Fitment Camp inaugurated by H.E. Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary (CPV &OIA), and Minister of Health, State of Palestine, H.E. Dr. Mai Kaileh.”
On his talks with the Health Minister, it said:
“Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary (CPV & OIA) called on H.E. Dr. Mai Kaileh, Minister of Heath, State of Palestine & discussed ways & means to further enhance cooperation in health sector between India and Palestine.”
On the commissioning of the printing press, it said:
“Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, Secretary (CPV & OIA) and Gen. Supervisor of Official Palestinian Media Minister Ahmad Assaf jointly commissioned GOI-funded project National Printing Press in Palestine.”
He also gave away the Distinguished ICCR Alumni Award.
“The Distinguished ICCR Alumni Award Ceremony was organized in Ramallah. The Award was presented by Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, @SecretaryCPVOIA , to ICCR Palestinian graduate Dr. Riyad Abu Shehadeh.”
