Damascus: A US military base in Al-Shaddadi in the Hasakah province in northern Syria came under missile fire, a Syrian field source told Sputnik.
“Several explosions occurred on the territory of the US military base in the south of the Hasakah province after ten missiles were fired at it,” the source said.
It said the missiles hit the barracks where American soldiers and officers were supposed to be. After that, alarm sirens were turned on at the base.
In recent weeks, the US has reinforced its bases on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River with equipment and personnel.
