3 LeT militants killed in Shopian Gunfight: ADGP Kashmir

Says Among Killed Militants Lateef, Umer Nazir Were Involved in Killing of Kashmiri Pandit Purana Krishna and Till Bahadur Thapa

Srinagar : Additional Director General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that three Lashkar-i-Toiba militants were killed in a gunfight, who were involved in killing of Kashmiri Pandit Purana Krishna and Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal.

The Kashmir Police Zone while quoting ADGP Kashmir tweeted, ” Among 03 neutralised local militants, 02 identified as Lateef Lone of Shopian, involved in killing of a Kashmiri Pandit Shri Purana Krishna Bhat & Umer Nazir of Anantnag, involved in killing of Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal. 01 AK 47 rifle & 2 pistols recovered,”.

Earlier, a gunfight broke our between militants and security forces in Manj Marg area of Shopian.
