The BJP has prepared to lay-off around 15% of its office-bearers in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan, these are the office-bearers who have remained inactive or have not performed as per the party’s expectations. The party has begun with this strategy, considering it a part of its mission-2023. Along with this, in November-December, the BJP is all set to initiate a movement on the mandal and district levels.

Therefore, this is being done so that the party does not look weak in any district of the state. The party is working as per the instructions of the state in-charge, Arun Singh, as far as working to bring into its fold new faces is concerned. It is also being expected that on 11th October, a meeting of the party office-bearers will be taking place, in which, some new and fresh faces will be welcomed to the party and it is also possible that discussions regarding laying off the inactive ones take place.

The major agendas of the meeting are the review of the work being done by the party and the joining of new faces.

It was 1.5 to 2 years back that the BJP Rajasthan State President, Satish Poonia, had warned during the new joining that the office-bearers whose performances will not be up to the mark will have to say goodbye to the BJP. Walking the talk, the party changed 2 district presidents in Jaipur. District Presidents in Dhaulpur and Alwar were also changed.
