For a long time, robots are being used in production-related works but now, their intervention is increasing in white-collar jobs as well. Work in the field of automation is becoming more advanced with the use of AI and machine learning. New techniques of automation do work like speech recognition in computers. All these advancements are leading to path from where computers will be able to make the decisions which were earlier reserved for humans only.

As per the World Economic Forum, by 2025, robots will work as much as humans do, but with new discoveries like AI, only a few aspects of jobs can go automatic, not whole of jobs can get dependent on AI. If more things are managed by computers, then the employees will get more challenging yet comfortable work. At the same time, experts believe that with AI-based systems, jobs in the fields from sales to administration will cease to exist.

David Autor, Economist, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has stated that dependence on AI and computers will prove to be beneficial for high-skilled workers.

Siemens USA CEO, Barbara Hampton said that a 1000% plus increase has been made by the company in the production of administrative virtual versions with the help of automation systems, digital tools, and AI.
