On Monday, Russia launched missiles on Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, along with 10 other cities of the country, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has threatened Ukraine with more such attacks. Now, Russia has joined hands with Belarus against Ukraine. Belarus’ President, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has said that his country will provide Russia with land in order for the latter to create barracks and initiate movements.

Nevertheless, Lukashenko has not clarified as to what number of Russian armies will be stationed at Belarus. Now, with Belarus’ announcement of offering military help to Russia against Ukraine, the danger of war is lurking over the continent of Europe. In the meantime, NATO has stated that they are ready for war as well. NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, has said that NATO will not step back from helping Ukraine, and USA’s President Joe Biden has labeled Russian attacks on Ukraine as Putin’s barbarism.

Russia launched missiles at Kiev again after a period of 4 months now, and thousands of people have been forced to find shelters in bunkers and underground metro stations once again.

In the wake of these latest developments between Russia and Ukraine, Latvian PM, Krisjanis Karins, on Monday, requested all the EU countries to ban the entry of Russian citizens into European countries by prohibiting them getting tourist visas. On the other hand, Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that it is important that a meeting of the G-7 countries is organized after Russia’s attacks.

Till now, 14000 Ukrainian citizens have lost their lives, with a loss of 5000 soldiers, and an economic loss of 6 lakh crores for the country.
