Ai-Da became the first robot to address the British parliament with her speaking at the British House of Lords in front of the parliamentary committee. But while the robot was delivering her speech in the parliament, a technical glitch took place in her, due to which, Ai-Da fell asleep while talking, after which she had to be restarted. And while she was addressing the committee, her eyes started rolling, and were looking like those of a zombie.

With all this happening, the maker of the robot, Eden Miller, made her wear sunglasses. Ai-Da discussed the topic of whether technology and artificial intelligence is dangerous for creativity, with the communications and digital committee. She was also asked as to how does she create art and she replied saying that she was dependent on computer programming, and despite not being alive, can make art. She added how she could paint with the help of the cameras in her eyes, robotic hands, and algorithms, as a result of which, attractive artwork is created.

Ai-Da then said that she uses neutral network for poetry, and after identifying poetic structures, analyzes a large collection of words and then creates poems.

“The role of AI will increase further in the times to come in the field of creative art”, added Ai-Da.
