On Sunday, the police made revelations in the murder case of aged security guard Mansaram aka Manji Bhat, who was murdered in cold blood on Friday night in the Mega Township on the Sojat Highway in Rajasthan’s Pali. The culprits, belonging in the Naya Gaanv region, Madan Bhat, Ratan Bawri, Chainaram Bawri, and Dungar Ram Bawri, have been arrested by the police. A female Jhamku Devi and other suspects are also under police custody.
SP Dr Gagandeep Singla said that after the dead body of the security guard was discovered on Saturday morning, an investigating team was formed under the direction of ASP BL Meena and CO City Anil Saran, which was led by TP Nagar police station in-charge, Vikram Singh Sandu. The team arrested the culprits by Saturday night after conducting raids at several places.
The wife of Naya Gaanv’s Gorakhram Bawri, Jhamku Devi, along with her sons and daughters, used to run a cabin outside the Mega Township, and looked after the security of the township at night. But she was removed after it was found out that Jhamku Devi was involved in immoral activities under the garb of the cabin business, and she was replaced by Manji Bhat, who was 70-years-old. Manji prohibited the entry of Jhamku and her relatives into the township, and this created animosity between the culprits and Manji Bhat.
The conspiracy of murdering Manji Bhat was worked upon by Jhamku’s son, Ratan Bawri and other relatives, and Chainaram Bawri, Dungar Ram Bawri among others were made a part of the plan. After committing the murder, the culprits, along with Chainaram, Ratan, Madan, and Dungar Ram, had a party, and consumed chicken and alcohol in the evening. In the meanwhile, a live video was also uploaded on Instagram by Chainaram, using Ratanlal’s ID, wherein he could be seen slaughtering the chicken amidst party music. The party’s live video was made as well.
