Complete beautification work for G-20 summit by Feb 22: Dr Chaudhari

Aurangabad: Preparation for G-20 summit to be held in city going by Municipal Corporation on war footing, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Commissioner Dr Abhijit Chaudhari has given instruction to concern officials of AMC to complete this decorating work by February 22 .

Dr Chaudhari reviewed details of all the ongoing works of beautifying the city work regarding the preparation of G-20 summit by holding meeting with concern officials at the smart city office on Monday evening.

During the meeting Dr Chaudhari has given some special information to the official under him.

He said that while completing the work of decorating the city on occasion of G-20 conference special attention should be paid to the quality of the work by the concern engineer of municipal corporation.It would be wrong to ignore the quality of work in the mess.

He said that while repairing all the traffic bets of the city ,they should be coloured and decorated.

As women representatives from many countries around the world will arrive in Aurangabad to attend G20 Council. For the better branding of the city in front of them,Dr Chaudhari instructed to the concern officials to immediately remove the posters and banners put up at the intersection and major roads of the city.

Along with this ,instructions also given to remove scrapped vechiles lying on the side of roads.

He gave instructions to complet by February 22 the works of decorating the routes through which the representatives of foreign delegations coming for G-20 Conference.

He also instructed to colour the skywalk of the city and light them. At the same time emphasis was laid on keeping the premises of historical places of city clean,added Dr Chaudhari.

All the department concern top officials of AMC were attended the meeting.

G-20 summit scheduled to be held here on February 27 and 28. All representatives reaching here on February 26 likely to visits heritages sites including world famous Ajantha and Ellora caves.
