Naturally, the age of menopause for women is after 40 to 45 years of age, and this phase of life is like a new birth to every woman, with its own set of problems and pain. Right before the time of menopause, women face problems like hot flashes, irritability, lack of sleep, and heavy bleeding. Despite all these facts, there is not much awareness about this serious issue, and there is no government policy for the same as well.

Now, a ground report from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, has revealed that the number of women who are facing pre-mature ovarian insufficiency at the age of 35 is increasing, and this is the sign of a emerging threat. In such a situation, wherein, because of early menopause, women are facing problems like the development of suicidal thoughts, not being able to give birth, and other organ-related issues, it is crucial that development of special menopause clinics is done in every city of the country, as women spend around 35-40 years in menopause. These clinics can be the spots for the women’s treatment and counselling.

Dr. Nozer Sheriar, Technical Advisor, South East Asia, WHO, has said that with menopause hitting, the risk of urinary incontinence and heart failures increases as estrogen is not made in the body anymore.
