Kolkata: Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee, whose Jono Sanjog Yatra from Cooch Behar to Kakdwip as part of the Trinamoole Nabo Jowar campaign entered the 17th day, marking the completion of 2000 km of yatra, on Friday asserted that regardless of caste or political affiliations, class or creed, the party has taught to serve people selflessly.

Addressing public meeting in Birbhum district, Banerjee said, ” Regardless of caste or political affiliations, class or creed, our party has taught us to serve people selflessly. ”

Stating that in Bengal, no one can claim that they have been denied benefits because of who they voted for, Banerjee iterated that nobody in the state has been deprived of State Government schemes like Kanyashree or Lakshmi Bhandar or Sabooj Sathi just because the Trinamool Congress has lost election from that particular assembly.

“People’s trust in our vision for grassroots welfare & support for #TrinamooleNaboJowar is indicative of the brighter future that awaits us. Bengal will set an example for the rest of the country to follow! Together, we will strengthen grassroots democracy and ensure holistic welfare of people.”

” You elected Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial to power for the third time because you wanted Lakshmir Bhandar. You wanted Bengal to remain in the hands of Bengal’s own daughter. People trust us because we’ve never failed on our commitments, ” he averred.
