Senthilbalaji dismissal kept in abeyance : TN Guv

Chennai: The dismissal of Tamil Nadu Minister V.Senthilbalaji from the Council of Ministers may be kept in abeyance as advised by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Governor R.N.Ravi said.

In a letter to Chief Minister M.K.Stalin soon after dismissing him from the State Cabinet as the Minister was facing criminal proceedings, the Governor as advised by Mr Amit Shah it would be prudent to seek the opinion of the Attorney General also”.

“Accordingly, I am approaching the Attorney General for his opinion”, he said.

“Meanwhile, the order of dismissal of Minister Senthilbalaji may be kept in abeyance until further communication from me”, the Governor said.
