J&K: Pak fires unprovoked, BSF retaliates in Ramgarh sector of Samba

Jammu: Pakistan troops violated the truce by firing unprovoked along the International Border in Ramgarh sector of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

BSF however, retaliated to the firing.

The BSF spokesman on Thursday morning said that during intervening night of November 8-9, Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing in Ramgarh area which was befittingly responded by BSF troops.

Earlier on October 18 and 26 also Pakistan violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked in Arnia sector in which two BSF personnel received bullet injuries.

On October 28, the Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier lodged strong protest with the Pakistan Rangers during a Flag meet at Octroi Post on unprovoked shelling.
