Mumbai: Mumbai City Collector and District Election Officer Sanjay Yadav appealed to all voters of Maharashtra capital district to participate spontaneously in the final phase of Lok Sabha elections in the state on May 20.
In his press statement issued Friday, Yadav said that voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm in both ‘Mumbai South Central’ and ‘Mumbai South’ Lok Sabha constituencies.
All preparations have been completed and the administration is ready for polling on Monday, he said.
There are 15 candidates in fray from Mumbai South Central and 14 from Mumbai South.
The Mumbai city district has a total of 24,90,238 voters including 13,43,959 male voters; 11,46,045 female voters and 224 third gender voters. There are 2,520 polling stations manned by 15,000 poll officials and employees, said Yadav.
