Nuuk: Residents of Greenland will not object to the United States increasing its military presence on the island, since current agreements give them permission to do so, Pele Broberg, the leader of the opposition Naleraq party in Greenland’s parliament and former foreign minister, told Sputnik.

“We don’t mind it [the US increasing its military presence]. It’s already in the agreement. They can do what they want… If they want to do things in Greenland, they just have to notify us what they’re actually doing,” Broberg said.
