Bitcoin falls below $80k first time since Nov 2024 – Trading Data

Moscow: The price of bitcoin fell by 5.5% on Friday, falling below $80,000 for the first time since November 2024, according to trading data.

On one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of trading volume, Binance, bitcoin dropped to $79,823, below $80,000 for the first time since November 10, 2024.

On the Bitmex Cryptocurrency Exchange, the bitcoin price plummeted to $79,350 before rising again slightly above $80,000.

Prior to this fall, bitcoin began to rise in price on news of Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election in early November 2024, skyrocketing 62% to its all-time high above $109,000 in late January 2025 from about $67,000.
